Dan D’Angelo, a California native from South Lake Tahoe, has devoted over 20 years to golf, transitioning from his initial passion for the sport into a dedication to mentorship and instruction. Renowned as the leading local authority in golf equipment fitting and repair, Dan’s expertise truly sets him apart in helping you enhance and refine your game.
As an active member of the PGA, Dan brings a wealth of experience to the golfing community. His role as a certified US Kids Golf Coach includes overseeing the area’s largest PGA Junior League and PGA Family Golf programs, catering to golfers of all ages and abilities with individualized instruction. Keeping abreast of the latest teaching methodologies through continuous education ensures his coaching remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving golf landscape.

Tawnie D'Angelo
Tawnie was born and raised in the Carson Valley and has been an avid golfer for over 15 years. Her love of the game grew when she was introduced to it by her dad as a child and continued playing since. She has been in the golf business including teaching and instruction for over 10 years.
Throughout her teaching career, Tawnie has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals including children, adults, and beginners. Her passion lies in introducing the game of golf to women while breaking down the sometimes intimidating barriers and stigmas that can come in the world of golf. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and empowering environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can get excited about golf, have fun, and learn a skill that will benefit them for a lifetime.
Currently enrolled in the LPGA Teacher Education Program, Tawnie is committed to continuously refining her teaching techniques and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in golf instruction. Her approach combines technical expertise with an understanding of individual needs and learning styles and will tailor each lesson to the individual.
In addition, Tawnie is a certified yoga instructor and is available to incorporate yoga into golf instruction. Yoga is an excellent way to increase strength and flexibility while reducing stress to help students develop the confidence and mindset necessary for success on and off the course.

Our coaching approach integrates TrackMan technology, providing indoor lessons with immediate application outdoors. We have partnered with Carson Valley Golf Course, Sunridge Golf Course, and Swing 395 Indoor Golf Club to combine technology with green grass instruction.
Your initial lesson involves assessing your current skills, discussing your goals, and creating a personalized plan to improve your game.
Let us know if you don’t have clubs, and we can provide them for your lesson. However, using your own clubs can be beneficial for familiarity and comfort during instruction.
Lessons can start as early as age 5, depending on the individual’s readiness and interest. Our coaching is tailored for all age groups, from juniors to seniors, ensuring specialized guidance.
Indoor lessons with the TrackMan are 30 minutes while outdoor lessons are 45-minutes. We also offer playing lessons which are typically around 2 hours.
Absolutely! Our instruction caters to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. We’ll start with the basics and progress at your pace.
We understand schedules change. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel a lesson without incurring a fee.
We provide diverse progress-tracking methods, including video analysis using Swing Profile, shot tracking via the TrackMan app, and structured practice sessions with attainable skill benchmarks. Additionally, ongoing feedback during lessons allows us to monitor and enhance your progress effectively.
Absolutely! We offer group lessons tailored to small groups, friends, families, or corporate outings, providing a fun and engaging learning experience for everyone involved. It is $30 to add an adult and $20 to add a junior to any of our outdoor private lessons.

By scheduling a lesson with D’Angelo Golf Instruction, you agree to our terms: lesson bookings are subject to availability and require advance scheduling; cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid fees, with prepaid lessons being non-refundable but eligible for rescheduling; adhere to specified lesson durations unless mutually adjusted; ensure personal safety during lessons and follow provided guidelines; equipment can be provided at our discretion; we’re not liable for injuries or property loss except in cases of proven negligence; consent to the use of lesson media for promotional purposes; payment is due at booking, and terms may be modified with notice.
